There are various boards, commissions, and committees that act in an advisory capacity to the City Council and in some instances are the final body for action. Bellmead residents are appointed to these boards, commissions, and committees by the City Council and serve two-year terms unless appointed to fulfill a vacancy.
City Council appointments are generally made in July and as needed throughout the year to fulfill vacancies. Residents are encouraged to review the descriptions to the left which provide a general idea of the duties and requirements of service for each board, commission, and committee.
