City of Bellmead utility crews work hard to reduce water and wastewater service disruptions. Utility crews are tasked with many different facets of work orders daily on top of unplanned repairs and breaks for water and wastewater services. Often times utility crews handle each incident and work order not just as a work order but as on-the-job training for staff and new personnel. The Public Works Department was able to conduct training for utilities crews and a friendly competition to go over repair procedures and to challenge staff to repair a "leak" they may come across in the field. It is safe to say the City of Bellmead is in good hands with staff ready and trained to jump in when needed to reduce service outages in the future. With parts and materials starting to be delivered, utility crews are gearing up for utility maintenance operations in the city.
