The City of Bellmead is thrilled to announce the tremendous success of our Community Clean-Up Day held on September 14, 2024. Thanks to the hard work of our residents, city staff, and Frontier Waste Solutions, our city is cleaner, safer, and more beautiful!
Highlights from the Event:
- Approx. 80 residents came out to participate in the event, showing their commitment to keeping Bellmead clean and vibrant.
- A whopping 1,000 tires were collected—tires that will no longer clutter our streets or end up in ditches, keeping our environment healthier.
- 10 massive 40-yard roll-off dumpsters were filled to the brim and swiftly removed by Frontier Waste Solutions.
This event would not have been possible without the dedication of our amazing city staff, who worked hard to make everything run smoothly:
- Councilman Tommy Bainbridge
- Councilwoman Karen Coleman
- City Manager Yost Zakhary
- Assistant City Manager Karen Evans
- Community Development Director Fred Morris
- Fire Chief Billy Hlavenka
- Inspector Bill Hunt
- Code Enforcement Officer Axel Sanchez
- Streets Foreman Clayton Davis
- Streets Crew Leader Thomas Turner
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the residents and volunteers who participated. Together, we’ve made a big impact and proven once again that Bellmead is a community that cares.
Let’s keep the momentum going! Remember, residents can schedule weekly bulk pickups every Wednesday by contacting Frontier Waste Solutions at 888-854-2905 or using their app. Let’s continue working together to keep Bellmead clean all year long!
