The City of Bellmead is proud to announce that we have been officially recognized with the 2025 “We Hire Vets” designation by the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Veterans Commission. This marks the first time the City has received this recognition.
The “We Hire Vets” program honors employers whose workforce includes at least 10 percent military veterans and who demonstrate a strong commitment to hiring and supporting those who have served our country.
In a letter of acknowledgment, the Texas Workforce Commission stated:
“We commend you on taking the initiative to hire our nation’s heroes. It is estimated that there are 1.5 million veterans in Texas, and these veterans bring valued traits to employers. We know that veterans are hardworking, motivated, and disciplined team members that will bolster any employer’s business.”
The City of Bellmead is honored to be recognized as an employer that actively supports veterans and their families. We are proud to contribute to workforce development in Texas by providing opportunities for those who have served in the armed forces.
