The TxDOT Waco District recently completed a construction project on the section of I-35 from 17th/18th Street to Loop 340. Sidewalks, curb ramps, pedestrian signals, crosswalks, and other facilities were installed and/or upgraded to better meet the needs of the non-motorized users in the region. The Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) on behalf of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Waco District is leading a survey effort to understand how well the mobility needs of pedestrians, cyclists, and scooter are being served by the recently completed project.
