May 2, 2026, General Election Information:  

The City of Bellmead is pleased to announce that candidate packets for the May 2, 2026, General Election are now available for pick-up at the City Secretary's Office at City Hall. This election will include positions for Precinct 3, Precinct 4, and At-Large.

Prospective candidates can collect their packets during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The filing period for a place on the ballot begins January 14, 2026, and ends February 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

To be eligible, candidates must be U.S. citizens, qualified Texas voters, and residents of both the City of Bellmead and the specific Precinct they intend to represent for two years prior to the election.
