On November 21st 2023 Bellmead Police Department responded to 1521 N IH 35 (Walmart) regarding a report of theft and damaged property. Upon officers arriving, officers learned that the suspect was approached by Walmart Loss prevention after exiting the store with unpaid items. The suspect shoved a Walmart Loss prevention employee while exiting the store with the stolen merchandise. Once outside, the suspect turned and threw a bottle of brake fluid at the Walmart Loss prevention employees before running to a vehicle and fleeing the scene. Employees with Walmart loss prevention sustained bodily injury as they attempted to avoid being hit with the bottle of brake fluid. Through the investigation the suspect was identified as VALLEJO,CHRISTOPHER VILLARRE. A warrant was obtained and on December 7th 2023 after gaining positive confirmation of VELLEJO’S location, he was arrested and transported to McLennan County Jail without further incident.
