On December 17, 2023, around 14:15 hours, Bellmead Police Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of New Dallas in reference to an individual that was stabbed. Officers learned the victim had been stabbed with a pocket knife in the arm by POE,THOMAS MATTHEW 63 years-of-age W/M. The dispute occurred in area of Parrish and Somerset Streets in Bellmead over money believed to be owed concerning sold property between the two. The victims stab wounds were non-life threatening. POE was located and arrested without incident. POE was transported and booked into McLennan County Jail for aggravated assault which is a second-degree felony
