[ARCHIVED] Tag & Tow Program

The City of Bellmead Police Department is implementing a Tag & Tow program starting February 1, 2024. Tag & Tow is being implemented to remove inoperable and unsightly vehicles from public right of way 72 hours after being tagged. This initiative aims to enhance the city's appearance and address unsightly vehicles in public areas.

Residents are encouraged to move inoperable vehicles from public right of ways to be repaired and brought to compliance with applicable motor vehicle regulations. Inoperable or "Junk" vehicles must be screen from public view. If visible from the public right-of-way, they may be subject to further code enforcement action to force their removal from the property completely.

This program reflects the city's ongoing commitment to improving the quality of Bellmead. For more information or questions, please feel free to contact the Bellmead Police Department at 254-799-0251 or Bellmead Code Enforcement at 254-799-2436.
