Christmas Tree Lighting & Parade

Memorial Park

Memorial Park is located at 3017 Bellmead Drive directly in front of the Bellmead Municipal Court Building.  This park was built with community contributions totaling $50,000.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade

The annual Christmas Tree lighting is held in Memorial Park followed by the Christmas parade hosted by the City and the Knights of Columbus. This year's parade will be on December 7, 2023.

Santa Claus also delivers his mailbox to city hall each year and his little elves at City Hall send all the little girls and boys letters to him at the North Pole. Either come by City Hall or the Christmas Tree to drop off your letter.

Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided to all by Santa's helpers after the Christmas Tree is lit by Mayor Jasmine Neal. We just hope the Grinch doesn't try to spoil it again this year!!

If you would like to enter a float in the parade, simply complete the parade entry form and submit to the Knights of Columbus per the form instructions.  You will be notified of your lineup location once your entry is confirmed.

Parade participants will not be throwing any candy, toys, etc. from any moving vehicle, float, etc. Candy may be tossed to the crowd from those walking the route only.  This is for the safety of all parade participants and spectators.
