Honor a Legacy and Enhance Our Parks in Bellmead
In the heart of our community, Bellmead Parks serve as a beacon of natural beauty; a place for families to gather, and for individuals to find solace and rejuvenation amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life. These green spaces are not just areas of land but are interwoven with the stories, laughter, and memories of our community members.
The Bellmead Parks Department is honored to introduce the "Parks Memorial Program" This initiative allows individuals to commemorate loved ones in a meaningful way. Participants have the option of purchasing a tree or bench to enhance any one of our various parks; a rose bush to add to our Memorial Rose Garden at our Civic Center; an engraved paver to honor their US Service Member or Veteran at our Memorial Park or make a financial contribution to be used towards park improvements, such as pathways, enhanced green spaces, and improved accessibility.
Why Contribute?
- Everlasting Tribute: Trees and rose bushes are living legacies that grows stronger and more beautiful with each passing year, symbolizing the enduring nature of your loved one's impact on the world.
- Symbolic Beauty: Roses are symbols of love, remembrance, and respect. A rose bush offers a living, blooming tribute that continues to grow and flourish year after year.
- Support Park Enhancements: Financial contributions can be directed towards park improvements, including benches, pathways, and community spaces, ensuring our parks remain vibrant and accessible for everyone.
- Environmental Impact: By donating a tree or rose bush, you're contributing to the health of our planet, providing benefits such as cleaner air, reduced noise pollution, and a habitat for wildlife.
- Community Enrichment: Your donation not only honors your loved one but also enhances the beauty and vitality of our parks, making them even more welcoming for all who seek peace and comfort in nature.
