A Place to Enjoy Life - Bellmead has 4 different Community Parks and a Civic Center available to the Public. The City has a thriving Little League Program that plays on the 5 Baseball Fields located at Lion's Park, and a multitude of Community Events throughout the year that are held at each of the parks. City Events are catered to all ages, so that there's something for everyone. Around Memorial Day expect a Summer Fun Kick Off Party at the Brame Park Splash Pad with more events to follow throughout the Summer. In the Fall, Bellmead hosts the annual Bellmead Burgers and Brew Festival with rides and games for the kids, as well as entertainment and beverages for the adults. Parades down Bellmead Drive are a Community favorite during La Vega Homecoming and the famous Bellmead Christmas Parade in December. You can find everything from free food, to bubble machines, to petting zoo's at our Community Events!

Waco Surf
Four Extreme Water Slides, The Worlds Longest Lazy River, World Championship Cable Wake Boarding Circuit and a World Class Surf Pool…located just 8 minutes from Bellmead City Hall. Brame Park
The Splash Pad at Brame Park is open to the public from 10 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week! The Park is conveniently located in the heart of Bellmead, and also features public restrooms, 2 large playgrounds with slides, swing sets, over 8 pavilions of various sizes. You can bring your dog and walk around the path that follows the perimeter of the park, or you can enjoy one of the many shaded pavilions that are available for rent through the City of Bellmead.

Cameron Park Zoo
Unplug those video games and connect with colorful creatures. How about discovering an oasis of natural wonder? Slide through the acrobatic otters floating around you. Look nose to nose with a lion named Kai. Stand a glass-pane away from gliding clownfish and craggy Komodo dragons. Hear bats flutter, get soaked by a practical-joking orangutan. Come on! Unplug, drop the digital, and connect your kids to a real-life adventure at Waco's 52-acre Natural Habitat Cameron Park Zoo along the Brazos River.

La Vega Baseball and Softball Association (LVBSA) offers convenient and well organized baseball programs, while providing a safe and fun experience in which all participants can learn good sportsmanship, perfect athletic skills, and promote teamwork. LVBSA focuses more on how the game is played, and how to work together, rather than winning or losing.

Located just 10 minutes from Bellmead, experience Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Market at the Silos! There's a little something for everyone at Magnolia Market - shopping, games, the garden and even a bite to eat!
