The Bellmead Police Department will be making and/or accepting appointments and/or walk-ins with Offenders for updates and changes every Thursday.
If Thursday falls on a holiday and we are closed for business, you can make an appointment for the next business day or the business day prior to the holiday.
Pertinent Ordinances
- It is unlawful for a sex offender to establish a permanent or temporary residence, or to be a recurring visitor to a residence, within one thousand (1,000) feet of any premises where children commonly gather.
- It is unlawful for a sex offender to establish a permanent or temporary residence, or to be a recurring visitor to a residence, within one thousand (1,000) feet of an existing sex offender residence.
- A sex offender shall not on October 30 or October 31 of any year between the hours of 4 pm and 11 pm leave an exterior porch light on or otherwise invite Halloween celebrants or trick-or-treaters to solicit at the residence, permanent or temporary, of a sex offender.
