Council–Manager Form of Government

The City of Bellmead operates under a Council–Manager form of government.

City Council: Serves as the legislative authority, responsible for policymaking, governance, and oversight of municipal services.
City Manager: Appointed by the City Council and serves as the Chief Administrative Officer, managing day-to-day operations and supervising city staff.

Public Meetings

The Bellmead City Council meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 6:30 PM in the Council Chamber at City Hall (3015 Bellmead Drive).

All meetings are open to the public and conducted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
Agendas are posted in compliance with state law and are available online.
Meeting recordings are typically available within 24 hours on the City of Bellmead YouTube Channel and the Agenda Center.
Recordings remain available for at least 365 days after each meeting date.
